In just two days a bunch of super great people including Musicians, entertainers and of course folks who love music will be gathering at Hoy Park!!!  There's going to be an Eclipse Jam Song ... Karen even wrote a verse!...Remember, this is strictly for people who want to have fun...other's need not come ;)  Dress up if you want... be a hippie, be a butterfly, be the Sun, be anything you want...Hey!...and bring a kite!!! All who come are sure to have a super, mellow (in a hyper kind of way), groovy, good time!!!

To all who have stood up to the blind fury of prejudice, no matter what form it took, I am in awe of you, of your strength, of your sacrifice...what a difference just ONE person can make!! Thank you, thank you, I am so grateful!

In our busy lives many of us sometimes forget to slow down and actually listen to what a person, standing in front of us, is saying.  I admit to catching myself mentally going over the empty shelves of the fridge thinking of what I need the most of...the phone calls I forgot to make... all the while another person is intently conversing away. I'm not sure how much I've actually missed in these conversations, but I realize it could be quite a bit!!!  The other day I was visiting an older couple whom I've known for several years, when I asked the wife what she thought of Wild Blues Yonder's music.  She and her husband had recently come to a party where the band had played so I was curious.  She said she didn't want to hurt my feelings but it wasn't really her kind of music....she didn't recognize any of the songs!!  Another friend who loves the band and happend to be there as well started laughing and said that was the whole point, Karen wrote [...]
